Strasbourg Time Series Data Meeting

5-6 December 2017, CDS Strasbourg

Goal

At the end of this workshop we should have something that can be presented at the next IVOA. In terms of:

  1. Minimal requirements
  2. Concrete serialisation of data based on examples taken from:
    1. VizieR examples, small/large tables
    2. GAPS data
    3. Gaia data
    4. iPTF data (which is the precursor of ZTF e. , again precursor of LSST)
    5. XMM-Newton (for events)

A summary document will be written and sent around to the participants for comments. This might be added to the IVOA wiki and sent around to the TDIG.

Summary notes for this meeting can be found on the IVOA Time Domain Interest Group wiki page at this link.

A set of minimal requirements for Time Series data discovery and access can be found at this link, again on the Time Domain IG IVOA wiki.

A repository of sample datasets and serializations has been setup on the volute repository.
